You wouldn't want to ingest these chemicals so why would you want to put them on your body? Many of these harsh ingredients are proven carcinogenic agents and have been linked to breast cancer. Synthetic ingredients in products can cause allergic reaction, eye irritation, throat irritation, and even dryness of the hair and skin. Hairdo or Dye sells products that are free from these harsh chemicals and synthetics so you can feel GOOD about looking GREAT.

The Hairdo or Dye Team stays eco-conscious and uses eco-friendly products, cleansers, lightbulbs, and materials whenever possible. We support other companies who strive to do the same. We proudly recycle anything our local recycling center will accept. Not only do we sell botanical based and organic products we also use haircolor that is made from 100% certified organics . We recycled hair clippings when they were needed to help clean up the BP oil spill in 2010. We do our research and chose companies like Onesta who uses recycled materials for all of their packaging and marketing materials. They are 100% offset by wind power. Onesta is not only a Minnesota based and made company, they also donate 10% of their net income to cancer research. They have partnered with Dr. Barbra Bowers, a Mora native, and the Fairview Breast Center located in Edina Minnesota to help make a difference and find a cure for cancer.

What can you do? Number one educate yourself. Be aware of what you are putting in your body and on your body. Recycle cans, bottles, plastics, papers, whatever your recycling center accepts. Buy eco-friendly cleaners, and soaps. Install high efficiency light bulbs. When buying beauty and health care products look for products without sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate. Look for paraben free, synthetic dye and color free products. Look for products that are cruelty free and are not tested on animals. When using paper use recycled paper products. Pick paper over plastic shopping bags or better yet use reusable bags. Pay your bills online this saves on waste and saves you money! Even just one small change in your lifestyle can greatly impact the Earth and your health.
